Bit of a conundrum.

I've got a Peugeot which i'm replacing the clutch on so i can;t drive it. I've bought new car, whcih i'm going to transfer the plate from the Peugeot to.

Any suggestions on how i can insure both until i get the plate transfered and the the peugeot fixed?? I don't want to SORN the peugeot as once the clutch is replaced (Hopefully this weekend) i'll be selling it on

I've looked at these short term insurance policies but they cost more for 14days that i pay yearly for fully comp?? (£460)

Are the DVLA likely to send out an fine for the new car if i leave it uninsured until i get the plate and peugeot gone?? ❓

Take out a normal policy and then cancel it.

If you do it within a certain time (might be 7 days) you won't have to pay the admin fees.
