Last year I used Zurich, but they won’t renew my policy list year as they’re leaving the sector.

Any recommendations for a replacement?

We use questor for an annual policy. Made a claim and it was settled no problem : just remember to keep all documents and take photos of damage.

I’ve always used Insurance4CarHire. It’s owned by Swinton now. I’ve never claimed but I know people who have ace it’s been fine

Worth every penny so as to not be ripped off by the hire companies with their stupid extras.

I had hired cars several times before I heard that excess insurance was a thing.

So the next time, I used insurance4carhire, and wouldn't you know it, a builder reversed their truck into my rented Suzuki Swift on the last day. Put a massive dent in the side.

They paid out very quickly and completely without quibble. And I've used them every time since!
