drivers side door has stopped opening from inside. I thought it would be a simple case of hooking a cable back up or something so have taken the trim off to have a look.
on inspection the cable looks like it is being pulled by the handle and pulling the cable itself still doesn't open the door. cable still has resistance and springs back happily.
does this mean the lock is buggered or is it a symptom of something more serious like electrics or summit.
Driver's door, or driver's side passenger door? If the latter, child lock?
drivers door 3dr micra, there is a little turn switch like a child safety but turning that didn't make any difference.
(don't think drivers door would have a CS lock anyway)
