Doing the usual comparisons and want to get quotes for European cover perhaps as well.
Seem to remember some German outfit people on here have used as a cheaper option, can anyone point the way ta?

Believe the German one is ADAC. May also be worth speaking to your motor insurer or broker, buying with them is usually a lot cheaper than buying direct.

ADAC is the German company. I signed up for a trip to the Nurburgring but never had to use them. Think they use the AA if you have an issue in the UK.

Autoaid in the UK is brilliant and they have a European arm for short trips which looks cheap:

See on google some reviews from couple of years on ADAC that cover was around 110 euros per year for 2 people which is a great price.
Then on some later reviews it was saying not available in the UK now.
Can anyone confirm that ta?

The ADAC website infers that non German nationals can join but you can't do it online. You have to request and complete the membership forms (which are in German) and return them:

I had to do this when I joined but that's 6 or 7 years ago.

There was also a gotcha whereby it was an automated annual renewal. I got a couple of invoices for this but never paid and the letters eventually stopped.
