Hi, all
I've got a leak its coming through at the glass, the seals have gone so the glass can move at one corner.
Can a rear window be saved and new glue put on? Companies, autoglass and the like seem to want to just replace. Haven't actually phoned them yet.

Cheers
Scott

Chances are a company will want to replace as removal and refit can be a risky process, and it's then a blame game if it does break.

Black silicone if you want it on the cheap. How old is the car.

2011, I thought about running silicone round it, the car is in pretty good nick so might just get it done properly.
Got windscreen cover on my insurance but I'm guessing that's front only.

I’ve successfully used a product called “Captain tolleys creeping crack cure” to seal windscreen on my car and boat windows etc.

There's also a very good mastic called Dum Dum, which would do the job.

A little update if anyone was interested.
After a "quick" 25 min of being on hold with my insurance, windscreen cover is for all glass, wasn't clear in the documents (and that's how they get you!)
Will have to pay £75 excess for a new window or £10 if it can be repaired. Autoglass booked but not till the 30th so will see what happens then.
