Need some body work done on my wifes car, basically a rear bumper repaired (possibly) or replaced (more likely). Will obviously get 3 quotes and take it from there, but before I do, any suggestions as to what to look for in a garage? Any specific warning signs or things that make on place better than another? The car is not new and not in showroom condition, it will also be done personally and not through insurance.
Related, anyone recommend anyone near Stourbridge to do such work?
Make sure the garage know that. It'll be a lot cheaperit will also be done personally and not through insurance.
Look for one that is insurance approved and has good local reviews.
I took the front bumper off an almost brand new A6 a few years ago and paid to repair it myself - did just that and was pleasantly surprised by the efficiency and quality of it all.
As above ^^^ check local reviews.
A lot of bumpers can come prepainted.
It's not rocket science to change one. Could save you some money.
Regardless of how swish the reception is you have no idea what goes on outback.
If you do take it in do a walk round and confirm any other damage and don't leave anything in the car.
