Hi looking for advice, desperate to pull trigger on strive 9 sl
but cannot decide on small or medium. Im between 5'8 5'9
of small to average build, any suggestions as doin my sweed in,
is it better to go smaller or bigger?
Bigger Strives more stable downhill, smaller size is more manageable on the tight and twisty.
I'm 5'11 and was in-between a MED and LARGE. I went for the medium and after a month I decided it was too short. I changed it for a Large (with a shorter stem) and it made all the difference. You need to be aware of the top tube length on the Strives, the other dimensions are fairly similar.

Will bare that in mind mate, i was gonna go small cos only using for trail use and all mountain
at mo but do like annual alps trip. Was tempted for a nerve but feel if strive is as light and as good
climbing as they say then i feel this is prob best all rounder.
What do think? Wudnt mind quick review of urs if uve got 5 mate, cheers

Fifthearl: I am exactly the same height as you. Went through the same quandry. Ended up with the medium and very happy with it. I do tend to prefer bigger rather than smaller frames. You are welcome to try it for size if you are near Sheffield.
