So far whilst lying in bed with my eyes closed I have chosen new tyres for when the dreadful Ground Controls wear out, and gone through step by step the fitting of my new drivetrain, including how to remove and refit the dirt shield cables with internal routing.

Still awake here.  Doing a bit of work, watching some SU2C, supping Tanqueray and figuring out plans for the weekend.

Into 3rd week since quitting smoking.  On the ceiling. Figuring how not to raid fridge for fish-sticks.  Considering late/early bike ride, yet doing so would wake everyone.  How long does this shit last?

Wind is spooky.  Head aches.  Podcast, tiger balm, pray for sleep to come.

Still awake here too. My usual trick is to try to remember/ follow every turn etc of a favorite ride. At the moment it is the Les Gets to Chatel route via Pointe de Mosettes. As the memory of a good summer fades it will revert to old favorites, like Brechfa, Cwmrhaeadr and The Tywi Track.

New wheels fit and which tyres for the leaf litter covered woods, imaging like previous guy turn by turn favourite trail. Sore throat coughing woke me.

It's 4am..I have to get up in 45 mins for an early assault on the Peak District. Really could use some sleep.

Instead I'm working out a flash of an idea for a resin cast plywood stool in my head.

I've had an email ping through that I've won something on last night's lottery..

Email doesn't say how much it is... Could be a couple of quid.. could be millions.

You can't login to check until about 8am. Hopefully will drift back off dreaming of how to spend the £5.60 iive probably won

£2.6 million..

In my dreams.

£2.60 in reality.

Was almost tempted to open a new account and never post as cloudnine again

Was nicely asleep until my workshop alarm rang at 4:30 to say the front door had been kicked in.

Grabbed a few hours kip inside a cold workshop with the door wedged shut from inside.

Spent all night listening to a 2 month old baby and thinking that maybe Kirsty is right, business class is no place for children! 🙂
