I’m trying to set up direct debit for a company in France (for an Autoroute toll tag).
I put my details in and IBAN number and it comes back saying my bank is not accessible for SEPA (Single European Payment Area) Direct Debits. Same with a nationwide and Bank of Scotland account.
Apparently we are still part of the SEPA.
Does anyone have any ideas why it won’t let me?
Cheers
Our DD is set up using Emovis Tag UK for the French motorway tolls, we got a deal through Eurotunnel.
Might be worth giving them a look
Cheers, it’s quite a lot more expensive through Emovis I think but I’ll have another look.
This is like what we did a few years ago, couldn't find a better deal at the time

Not sure if useful but https://www.starlingbank.com/blog/how-to-defend-yourself-against-iban-discrimination/
Cheers, I got sorted with a different tag provider who did accept my IBAN.
@Tracey Emovis looked a bit more expensive, but maybe would have ended up better in the long run as they Bill you in GBP. And I’m not using the tunnel this time so no offer 🙁
I’ll find out how it goes in March.
