Do you have any firewall/security software running?
Can you log into any sites that don't have the cookies already installed?
Yeah, what Timpol says. Isolate the PC from the problem.
err i think so mr nutt
control panel/security is where to look
disable firewall
then delete cookies on IE
cursory reboot just because
try again
disable firewall
really ? Isn't that like "give your pooter to the mafia" ?
then delete cookies on IE
or get a proper browser ? The whole 'delete cookies' thing is such an arse.

Just search for microsoft security essentials. Free and rather good
edit: just spotted the flaw in that - you can't get Google 🙂
http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/
I can connect to most sites but not google or gmail.I can read my blog but it won't load the sign in page just like gmail
Is the log on for your blog controlled by Google in any way?
just got a load of stuff that might help, have you got any other email that you can get into? or go onto face book and il send it over
are you running any kind of adblock, peer guardian or little snitch? it may be that its blocking googles servers?
Have you....
Tried a different browser (IE is always good as a check)
Made sure that Google is actually working (it is but you can always check on http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com)
Switched your firewall off in case it is has started to block google by accident. You can leave the AV soft on.
Restarted your router (yep)
edit: and what MrNutt said

Clear your host file
If you're running Windows, you have a file called 'Hosts' in your C:\WINDOWS directory (for Windows 98) or your C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc directory (for Windows XP, Windows NT or Windows 2000). If you find an entry for Google, please delete it. Google's IP address changes from time to time, so an outdated IP address cached on your computer can create problems when you try to access Google.
