I have a Canon 500D with a Sigma 18-125mm F3.5-5.6 lens and I'd like to get a lens for using to take photos of Animals on holiday. Typically I won't be too far away so just need abit more range than my current lens. I don't want something too unwieldy and spend no-more than £200 secondhand.

Something like this?

There's a Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM here for around £200

Might to have a look for it, as I can't link directly to it. Try setting to the filter to prices low-high.
