After some advice on buying a flash gun, looking at Jessops own 360 or a canon speedlight, the speedlight been over £100 more!
Has anyone used/got one or the other and offer any advice, if the Jessops one is any good or is really rubbish?

I bought a second-hand 420EX from ebay for c.£80 years ago, its been good. Never tried the Jessops ones, maybe search Talk photography or dpreview forums for opinions? The Canon one should hold it's value pretty well though. If it were me, i'd bite the bullet and get the Canon.

Have a look on talkphotographym you can get own brand flahsnuns (nissin and yongnuo I think) for around £50. I use Yongnuo radio triggers and they've been fine

I've got the top end sigma one on my 400d body. Think it was about £120 a few years ago, but has the equivilent featureset of the £250 canon job. Been pleased with it, but have no grounds for comparison

I had one of these on my 350D:

Excellent in every way, at less than half the price of a Canon Speedlight.
There is a slightly more powerful one in the range, so have a look.

Alan.
