I have a sneaky feeling that Saunders could shock the world.

Can't see it happening, but perhaps that's because it's Saunders who is like humanised coronavirus. Maybe there are reasons to be more optimistic but Saunders is low power, inactive, 4 years since his last notable victory, and fighting the pfp best boxer in the world in his own back yard. If he pulls something out here it's upset of the century material.

Agree with Garry, Saunders will make it awkward for a while.
But you never know..!
Shame it's not on telly. Sky Sports is just shite. I mean Chisora-Parker - pay per view??! Sod off.

Chuckling at anyone who thought BJS could win. Struggling to think of anyone he's fought that's remotely close to genuine world level. Plus he's an absolute horrible human being.

I feel cheated, I had Canelo sparking him out in the 9th round 😀 definitely would have happened to, the difference in power was obvious from round two, mallet vs lump hammer, literally caved his face in with that uppercut, beautiful.
This is the year to silence the loud mouth pikies.

Just watched it, seemed a weird stoppage. Saunders was doing well, couple of rounds up. Guess it would be hard to keep that level of concentration with a damaged eye, but looked to me like he was in with a chance of a points victory.
Crap ending.

Yeah, but multiple fractures to his eye socket! Had the be stopped when it was, or it could’ve been really nasty

Ah, indeed. Only just watched, so hadn’t read any reports. Alvarez does hit hard! Must’ve been one of the about 5 punches he landed 😉

Alvarez didn't punch him enough. Says everything about Saunders when the combatant with the failed drugs test is the good guy.

I don't think Canelo even felt most of what Billy Joe was throwing, he could have taken those shots all night long judging by how little he moved when hit but I think the Saunders family tree shook with every one of those Canelo power shots, by round four you could see those shots taking their toll, Saunders did have some success after that but Canelo was never in danger, he's like the thing from fantastic four, you ain't putting a dent in him, I think most people had him finishing Saunders in the last third to be honest, but Chris eubank jr calling him out on twitter made me laugh.
