My Endura waterproof shorts are now just shorts. The bum is waterproof no more. Leaks seem to be at the seams. Duck tape aside, can they be rescued?

You could try seam sealer as used in tents and when repairing other waterproofs

The stuff they use in the factories can be bought on eBay. I had to sew a reinforced patch on the arse of my waterproof trousers, used some to seal the new seam. You iron it on, easy, quick and work a treat.

I shall try some seam sealer then as an inexpensive opening gambit.
