The only issue is, the bulb that illuminates the main "radar" dial has blown. But I have sourced two replacements which arrived today. Quite hard to source in the UK. A pygmy bulb #50, 7.5 V 220 mA and an E10 thread. Little project for tonight.

My dad had the matching amplifier for that. It's still in the abandoned house in Bulgaria. It's not worth going to fetch it, but it was a great amp.

FM will be around for many more years - go for it.
No Way! My Dad has still got one of those radios - been in regular use since he bought it new!
