Since the easing of lockdown in Wales can I now go surfing in Wales? Ive got a meeting in the Gower later today and travelling over there from England. I was thinking of taking my board and going for a surf after. can I do this now? Just looked at the webcams for the beaches and there doesn't look to be a single person there! Are the car parks open? can I go?! will I be hounded back over the Severn Crossing by an angry mob?
I am guessing it would be better surfing just off the coast of Wales
Why not just have a virtual meeting therefore not having to travel in the first place
thanks for the useful replies!
Yeah, you can but north westerleys today so gennith is going to be crap.
As above it is rubbish today. But you can surf. Car parks are open, many facilities are not.
The beaches have been heaving when it has been good.
Cheers. any recommendations for spots later today?
Caswell if you just want to get in. Or Langland if enough swell.
road closure between Bishopston and Caswell - but they are both flat to all intents and purposes (went for a spin past at lunch) - maybe if you had a huge log you could find a couple of peelers at Langland.
Its probably waist high (but cross-onshore) at Llangennith
