I know there's lots of stuff on the internet, but I wanted a book which I can regularly refer to. I never stretch but over the last few years have had a couple of minor injuries of which I know some are related to not stretching, so trying to make it more of my daily routine or at least definately after exercise.
Anyone got a good book they can recommend? cycling specific or maybe triathlon specific but would clearly include cycling. Thanks.

there is a great and very comprehensive App on the iPad.
iMuscle ....
Thanks but any sport specific ones?
Just figure out what muscles do during your sport or activity of choice and make up your own stretches by doing the opposite of the muscle contraction. Hold the stretch until you feel the muscle release. Repeat as often as you are able.
That's all there is to stretching. Anyone trying to tell you anything else is selling bunkum.
do a few of these]before and after a ride/workout
or buy this it'll improve your strength as well as stretch you out a treat.

...and since then have loosely, by that i mean not eligiously but a quick routine 4 or so mornings a week, also after training and generally if i feel a bit tight, but like i say i'm casual in my approach... oh my, the difference is stunning. i wish i'd known how much just a tiny bit of stretching can do years ago. literally, i've gone from a locked back every morning to totally loose. in surfing its phenomenal.
