As per the title - can anyone recommend a mortgage broker?
Its for additional borrowing and I'd normally just call my lender direct but the circumstances aren't exactly standard and a broker should be better as positioning the application and making sure everything is in order.
Ive been more than happy with yourmortgagepeople.co.uk through 2 mortgages
PM for a referral (think i have one)
For my renewal i got it in place 6 months ahead of time, then any time a better rate came up they automatically moved me over to it, up to the last minute
Where do you live?
I'm in Leeds - but don't necessarily need them to be local.
if you don't need them to be local - these guys are excellent. Especially if it's not a run of the mill mortgage. ask for Matt
We've had several mortgages through Johnathan Raybould and always been happy. He came to us highly recommended.

My mate Ellen has sorted us out the last few times:Â https://www.evolvemortgageadvice.co.uk/
Used Habito the last time but actually ended up with First Direct for the mortgage as they offered a better rate and don't deal with brokers.
For modest (relative to the loan) additional borrowing, we found lender direct (TSB) worked well - even in non standard circumstances. Let's say I half-expected a refusal, but being able to discuss directly was extremely helpful.
