I have just been told that I may have to move my base of work - long involved story and partly covid related

Its a long commute ( for me) and my ebike is knackered. I can try to get a new motor for it but doubt I can get one quickly enough.

Anyone in edinburgh lend or hire to me an ebike or add on kit? Or any other ideas? It would only be for a few weeks

Thanks

Taxi / Bus / tram / train / car / gyrocopter / canoe / jetpack ?

Welcome to the world of people who have to work somewhere that isn't near their house.

It's a bitch, ain't it?

Yes.

I have an Orbea Katu-E with pannier bags and a big front rack you can have for a while if you want?

Public transport is out. Infection risk to me and to other passengers. I don't own a car. Jet pack would be good

I used to work in the same area and had to buy an ebike because i was getting knackered at my age but mine has now gone kaput. I can get another motor for mine but doubt I can get it quickly enough - just got a week to sort it out.

They’ve thought long and hard about the aesthetics of that one

Is that a dig bowl under that Orbea?

Don't go TJ. It's a trap!

Oh aye, it's "unique". Not super-aero, probably needs a trispoke front wheel and a disk one at the back to realise its true potential.
However, it's a great town/commuter bike - very well thought out.

It's my cats timer feeder thingy

I look forward to YGH's Joe Wicks-style online kettlebell workout for schoolchildren during the lockdown

Hello YGH. What rack did you get for the rear? I've just got one of these too!

I just went to local bike recycling place and got closest one. Took a bit of bodging due to angles.

Get one with as many adjustments in all planes as possible!

Thanks again - I was in a bit of a panic this morning. New bb mount motor ( tongshen)is ordered and should be with me in time for this move.

Its funny - I am feeling fine mentally most of the time but easily go into panic mode
