Howdy all,

Can anyone recommend a campervan builder please?  Ideally near Herts / Bucks / Bedfordshire border as thats where I am based but I'm happy to travel out 100/150 miles if I need to.  Which covers quite a large area from Bristol to Birmingham to South and East Coast.

I already have the donor vehicle a Renault Traffic LWB van.  I need someone to put the base fabric of the campervan in place; insulate and ply line the walls put in couple of windows, pop top roof and electrics.  I would like them to create a nice cosy box ready for me to make and install furniture at a later date.

I'm just too busy at the moment and the spare time I do have I'd rather spend riding my bike and getting fit and healthy again.

thank you

I've used Leisuredrive a few times, Based in Salford, Manchester but right next to the Station so you can drop your van off and catch the train home.

I supplied the curtain and seat material for the look I wanted.

They manufacture their own roofs which saves a fortune on branded items like Reimo.

Good workmanship and friendly too.

Ours (a Vivaro) was done by Alex at  http://www.bespokecampers.co.uk  in Cheltenham. He does a lot of Vivaro/Traffics (as well as T5's) which is what attracted him to us. Ours in its 6th year now and still going strong.

Not racepassion if they are still going down Wales way (in MY OPINION - incase the angeldust the poor flower thinks I'm stating a fact) because they are cowboys (IN MY OPINION)

None of the electrics /gas or water was to any kind of standard .

My FiL used Vanscape. the quality was decent but he was belittled, verbally abused and made to feel miniscule when he pointed out obvious problems, it was very distressing.

If your fil pointed out 'obvious problems', then the quality can't have been decent?
