Bit of a vague question this but can anyone recommend a campsite in the Loire for early June? It's for three of us (me, mrs and 4 yo) and we want to balance entertaining the little one with it not being full of screaming kids. We've got our own big tent so can take that but not overly fussed if they have their own already set up. Any suggestions?
If you get the ACSI card and book from Vicarious Books then you'll have a wide range of ACSI inspected sites, all with a good discount using the card.I think its for camping only and not rental stuff.

we have stopped here twice when the kids were little. fairly basic but covers most things. each pitch is set out in an old orchard and are quite private. we pitched right next to the kids play area so the kids could be in view of us and it wasn't too noisy. its a working farm but its grain not cattle so no smells. we had a hugh tent plus gazebo no problem.
You can use the eurocamp site to search and then use google to book direct. They shouldn't be rammed with kids in June.
We have camped here before, it's a lovely setting.

Nice town, relaxed site, near the river. Good maison du vin for the Touraine/Chinon AOC
Montsoreau is a favourite of ours but not got loads for kids, but there's lots to do in the area.
