Evening folks
We’re looking to have a week in Morzine middle of June this year and I’m looking for campsite recommendations preferably within the area. We have been 3 times before and stayed in campsite Les Marmottes but we’ve discovered this is no longer open.
Any recommendations would be appreciated
Cheers S

Camping au freine or whatever its called at the top of the les gets black. Little bit further from morzine but its far better for getting onto the lift system than marmottes and its cheaper. Ace pool, nice site. Fresh bread in the morning and all the facilities youd need to go biking.

Its a lift up from les gets and 10 minute ride across or if you like beer more than catching the last lift a 20 minite climb up from les gets. Just dont get caught and miss the last lift from morzine....

As above, the site in Les gets is spot on from all I've heard although I've never stayed there.

Have you considered an apartment? The tourist office in Les Gets did us proud last summer.

The site above Les Gets is superb but make sure you book.

I've used camping le pre before and it was decent enough and very easy to get to

Have you looked at chalets? They can be pretty cheap. Les Gets would be too compromised for me as we'd have to finish riding an hour or more earlier to make it home easily. Fine if you mostly just ride locally I suppose.

Thank you for all the replies. We will be travelling there in a motor home so ruling out chalets

If you are in a motorhome then there are several unofficial sites. You could even move around and try a few

There’s a nice little campsite in St Jean D’Aulps. Only 10 mins from Morzine.

There is a site at the bottom end of Les Gets. Depending upon facilities required you might also want to consider the Morzine marketplace beneath the Super Morzine lift and the rough carpark up at Zore.
