You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I've got a couple of days at BPW coming up, so decided I'll camp over
Since I'll have the bikes in my car, I'd really like the car next to my tent overnight.
And a warm shower / decent bogs.
Other than that... I've no other needs! Who's got anything they can suggest?
Thanks in advance!
If you are just sleeping in a van then drive up to the car parks next to carn du pen y fan
Grawen campsite. Couple of mins up the main road towards Brecon Beacons.
Cheers, I've dropped them an email.
I'm in my car, so if the bikes are in the back there's no room for me!
ratswithwings - good call on the campsite.
Had two nights at Grawen, although there aren't anywhere near enough toilets or showers I just learned when the right time of day to go was.
Good site, would stay again 🙂
Be careful which lay-bys you choose on the A470, some have quite a reputation for being rather busy. Used to be Pont ar Daf until we cut all the edge trees down, seems to be further down the valley now.
Unless that is your kind of thing.
Coed Owen may do you a bed in their bunkhouse for about the same money as a campsite. They take individual bookings when the whole place isn't booked out.
Edit: just realised the thread is a week old, the lay-by warning may still be of interest to some.
Surprised bpw haven't got lodges / campsite in the pipeline..
