Hi
Quick one - has anyone else had a sudden request for driving license check codes from them?
Dad's had one asking for check codes for all drivers within 7 days or the policy may cease to be valid. AFAIK it's not for a renewal.
It looks a bit like it could be phishing...time pressure, threats of drastic action and there's a mix up of comments about how long codes are valid for - it says 21 days for him and 72 hours against other drivers.
I've told him to phone them (from a number NOT on the incoming email) but just wondering if anyone else had similar (it is of course possible he's failed to read one or more previous requests and now they're piling the pressure on to sort it!).
My license is as clean as they come before some smart arse asks what I'm trying to hide!
Ignore. He's beaten me to it and checked it.

So, valid request or phishing (in the event anyone else gets the same email)?
Assuming it is legit? I'm not surprised they want to check policy holders have a valid licence as the reg's get somewhat complex for people under 40 and I'm sure many don't.
However, I don't think the tow vehicle is identified, or drivers named on our caravan & camping club insurance, so who or what are they checking?
