Likely stopping over in Keswick tomorrow night, ride the bash on Sunday am.

Aiming to get on one of the sites with facilities, but they all only show two night stays via websites, so not sure what the situation will be tomorrow.

Anyone got some recommendations for pubs that allow stopovers somewhere nearby?

(Yes, I will sign up to britstops eventually, but this is a one off for now. Not a regular thing!)

Search for sites says here if it’s close enough?

Comments say anything over 6m might be a struggle due to tight entrance road.

Thanks Phil, never heard of search for sites so that's really useful!

Lakeside car park by the theatre in Keswick is something like £1 overnight, lots of campers stay there, safe and lots of room, short walk to town. Beware, expensive in the day time, move to e.g. the  rugby club car park for the day, I think the White Horse at scales allow overnight parking if you use the pub.
edit, I now see that link above is to the White Horse….

Search For Sites & Park 4 Night apps are both worth having. They’ve ruined a lot of those small out of the way park ups by making them too busy, but good for finding official places / pubs etc.

Most sites accept a single night stay on the day of arrival but not if you book in advance

You’ll definitely get in to Setmabanning just outside Threlkeld I expect. Short walk to Horse and Farrier pub in the village, nice little cafe in the village hall
