[Closed] Campervan hire in Italy

I'm going to Italy in September for a (running) race, and staying for a week before and afterwards.
My girlfriend is coming too, to support me during the race. We thought hiring a campervan might be a good idea (better than hiring a car and using hotels/B&B/camping).

Has anyone got any experience of hiring a camper in Italy?
We'll be flying into Milan; race starts in Cervinia and finishes in Grächen, Switzerland. We'd probably head east after the race, see more if we can find some fun in the Dolomites.

Tips on camper hire or things to see / do greatly appreciated!
