Sony hx20v on starting sounds like an angry wasp is stuck inside. It goes off as soon as you put the camera down on a flat surface,any idea? If you don't put it down it will continue. Doesn't happen 100% of the time either. Any ideas?
Zoom lens got some dirt stuck in it?
Some Sony RX-100s do this and it's a problem with the anti-shake system in the lens. There's a firmware patch to fix it. It could be the same problem, especially if it stops on a firm surface..??
