Bought the wife a Panasonic Lumix DC-GX800 camera for Xmas. It has 12-32 lens with a Micro 4/3rds fitting.

She would like more of a zoom lens for taking scenery shots.

What should we be looking for as a lens upgrade. Not too costly please.

Cheers

Not that much choice in that lens standard I don't think.

Sorry - don't know anything about the system - might be an adapter ring available to use other lenses. Or that 45-150mm at the top of the list. Not particualrly fast but it's not going to be at that price for that (equivalent) zoom length. A bit of a jump between that and her other lens which could be a faff. Most people with a couple of variable length lenses would like them to overlap a little.

That's a list of micro-4/3 telephoto lenses to browse through, you can mix-and-match camera and lens as they're all compatible.

The 45-150 is definitely the entry level lens to see if its the range you want.

I shoot M4/3rds mainly with the Olympus PRO range which are lush but pricey.

Heres a list

You'll probably need in-lens image stabilisation as that camera doesn't have it onboard. It may be easiest to stick with a Panasonic lens for this reason.
