Try to hashtag #CambridgeAnalytica on Twitter.
You get as far as #Cambr and you get several suggestions, one of which is #CambridgeAnalytics (sic).
Type to #CambridgeA and you have just one hashtag suggestion, #CambridgeAnalytics.
Keep going, #CambridgeAnalytic and you still have just one hashtag suggestion, #CambridgeAnalytics. Where is #CambridgeAnalytica here?
Compare and contrast Google, searching for "cambridge analytic" suggests Cambridge Analytica and doesn't mention Cambridge Analytics at all.
Is the userbase of Twitter collectively ignorant, or does this smell funny to you?

I only get #CambridgeAnalytics too, I use Tweetdeck and it only gives me that hashtag for both writing a tweet and in search.
iPad and the twitter app, I get as far as typing #ca and first response is #cairngorms 260 tweets and next is #CambridgeAnalytica 100 tweets in the last hour.

Having said that, Vince Cable used the misspelled hashtag… I suppose once it has driven the correctly spelled hashtag out, it becomes "the one", error included.

Except, it isn't. Far more people are using the correct tag as far as I can tell, something like 4:1.

You know, I assume, that CA are implicated in manipulating voters in the run-up to the referendum using (allegedly) vast tracts of data from places like Facebook that they weren't supposed to have access to? And (allegedly) fed out misinformation using bots on Twitter?

I get only #cambridgeanalytics as an auto-fill. No mention of ...tica ending and/or recent incidents of the hashtag, even when I type the full thing.
