I've been using this site or iterations of it for what seems like ever. I can remember when it had that list of logged-on timewasters down the side.

I even went on a forum ride once and met Bez and CrazyLegs (?). And one of my posts got quoted in the magazine.

I am still riding bikes and still waiting for my invitation to the secret forum.

I registered on 10 May 2001 according to the email which is still in my email inbox. Original username was Tom but lost that in the great hack.
Is there going to be a celebration for 20 years of the STW forum?

In general, I have spent too long on this site over the years.

Hola. It seems like I’ve been here since the dawn of time. Over that period it has made my life immeasurably better. Met some great people

In fact, over the last 4 years it has lead, inadvertently, to a complete change of direction in what I laughably refer to as my career. Monday Night Pub Rides have a lot to answer for

Funny old world, innit?

Tragically, I have every single single edition of the magazine from issue 1

I suppose I class as an old timer around here. Hello Juan. Not been on here in forever, popped on for a look this evening.
Been living in the US for nearly 6 years now. Still riding. Glad to see others are, deeply saddened to see those who have recently left the big old bicycle family.
Jiggles to those who jiggled.

A celebration ride? That is a brilliant idea. Where would it be? I suppose up North would be appropriate.

… or Swinley?

Still here, but much less active, still loitering around the classifieds for bargains I don't really need, still cycling, but much less after a couple of crashs and a busy job, planning to get back to it this summer.

I've still got 9,994 years to go on my ban.

I'll be back though.

LOL @The Southern Yeti

I think even I would join in on a celebration ride marking the 20th anniversary. Maybe even buy a t-shirt.

Still here and posting very occasionally now but changed names a while back. Glad to hear you're well Juan - iirc I checked the name for my son wasn't going to be silly in French about 10 years ago so thanks for that 😉

Think I joined from BM when the mag started 2002ish 😯

Friday Kylie, blimey, I'd forgotten about her...
And ENDLESS "what tyres for Coed-y-Brenin" etc. threads
I seem to remember occasional London roundups for riding Critical Mass too... haven't done that for a very long time.

Thanks for asking 🙂 Still here 15 years on, thankfully I did eventually get the hang of it all and my trips to A&E have all but stopped. Still got more bikes, bits, kit than I will ever use and my riding now is more for the craic and exploring with my bivy kit. Onward & upward
ps what about the post from some dude wanting to know the best way to remove arse hair, that was left of centre

Been on here for many years too. ST reader since issue 4 or 5 iirc.

My missus keeps saying “take it steady” on my MTB rides, knowing that I never do. Next birthday I’ll be 52, a proper owld gadgy.
