I'm gutted!
Let me explain.
I did a lot of skating in the late 80s and early 90s. (Still skate a bit now and then)
The highlight of my skating in the 90s was having a full page photo and interview in the July 1991 issue of Skateboard! Magazine.
This issue has been a prised possession of mine for 30 years.
Imagine my horror on the weekend I realised that it had been accidentally thrown away in a recent clear out!
Gutted and sad don't quite explain how I feel.
I've a feeling tracking down a copy of a 31 years old magazine could be quite a task.
So, just wondering if there is any old school skaters on here who have this magazine or know someone who may have it or any other avenues of tracking it down.
All help hugely appreciated.
No chance you ever took a pic of the page to share with someone or something and it now being backed up on whatever cloud service you use?
It would be better than nothing.
I have a photo of the page but really want the physical magazine.
This is the cover of said magazine.

Is there still a forum called Middle Age Shred?
there are a few collectors about - I curated an exhibition of board graphics once and I think one of the biggest contributors was Phil Chapman who’s published a book or two and might have a lead on anyone who has collections off magazines
Cheers.
A good lead there.
I'll investigate.
I assume you've got a saved search with notifications on eBay?
Just asking a mate but he was more a thrasher mag person.
Sadly and somewhat happily skateboarding is a very destructive art format I binned loads of stuff I had.
Yep, have a saved search on eBay.
@pk13, yes very true.
I took every board I'd skated from 1986 to 2004 to the local tip as I was moving house and it seamed silly to take a load of knackered wood with me.
Deeply regret that now, especially seeing the prices some of them fetch!
Facebook groups may be your friend, best bet would be SCUK:

Or as mentioned, Middle Aged Shred

Also, look out for Sean Goff online, he runs the Todd Twist skate shop and has a mound of old stuff up his loft, he might be able to point you in the right direction

God imagine how decrepit it made me feel to see skateboards being valued on antiques road show 🙂
