My friend at work has just given me a Naga chilli.

What to do with it?!?!

Obviously make some food with it, but does anyone have any recipes that work with Nagas particularly well?

Chop it up and then go for a wee or pick your nose.

Serious answer - cut it quite fine and sprinkle a little over some rice with a curry or chili so you get the flavour rather than just unpleasant heat. I wouldn't just chuck it into a pot of something as it'll just be mentally hot and they do taste really nice.

And remember to save the seeds and grow your own next year.

what's the difference between a jam and a chutney?

I always though Jam was fruit based and went on toast and anything savoury was chutney?

Not sure if jams have vinegar in...but all the chutneys I've made have.

At the risk of spoiling the practical joker theme of this thread, I've used Naga chiles for making Veggie chilli. They taste like an intense scotch bonnet and give a slow burning but long lasting heat combined with a rather fruity and tropical taste.

Recipe here Just substitute the jalapenos and chipotles for a naga or two.

You get both.

The answer is the sugar Vs vinegar.
