Need a radiator for bathroom .Done several different calculation sites and they vary by up to 1000 btus .So is there a definitive place to look or just go with a bigger one anyway ?

How well is your bathroom insulated. After drylining my bedroom with 38?mm p.u. foam backed plasterboard I fitted what I believed to be an appropriately sized rad. On its lowest setting we were toasty throughout the early Jan cold snap!

having said that, the differences in price aren't too vast. Have you factored in the effects of a heated towel rail? Also you need to take into account the extractor removing moist but warm air.

we've got a heated towel rail at the moment .about as much use as a chocolate fireguard .hence why we are going back to a radiator .

Just go bigger, you can always turn it down.

Or look at the tall rads/rails - they kick off a lot of heat.

go for the largest size that will fit, you can always turn the thermostat down.
