Oooft!

No coffee this week, I'm guilty of drinking far too much of it - filter coffee is always available in the office, had quite a headache cycling home the last 2 days, and stiff legs/low energy too.

How long does it last?.

7-10 days only. First couple of days are the worst.
If you get really desperate for a fix over the next couple of days then then decaf seems to work.

~3 weeks, a bit like going cold turkey with smoking.

That's why most drugs have headache as a known side effect.... Volunteers in the early stage trials are all suffering from caffeine withdrawal. True fact

Could you not just drink less coffee?

^This^

Went from a couple of gallons a day to one or two cups a day. No side effects whatsoever.

We found it only lasted 1-2 days before the headache went. But cutting down over a period of time is less painful.

I used to drink 4/5 cans of Coke or Irn-Bru a day. Gave it up last Christmas and it took about three weeks for the caffeine headaches to stop properly.

The one negative side effect I did not plan for was somehow my sleep is worse than ever and it's been like this for the last seven months.

Yikes.... 3rd coffee this morning. In an hour. Drinking one now. Damn you espresso. You hot-shot of legal crack. I love you.

Couple of days. It's no big deal. Distract yourself.

Same here, stopped drinking caff'd tea last week, I've been having headaches for most of the last 10 days. Got a slight one today.
