Now, where were we. As anagallis_arvensis said above Landis did win it previously although he was doped and got stripped of the title so I think Evans may be the first.
What happens if Evans is hit with a thunderbolt? Has a mechanical? Or is is ill? ( My question was nothing to do with the dark side of the dark side).
The ride into Paris is just a procession isnt it- so unless he IS struck by lightning or his bike breaks in half he will win. Strange things can happen and all that.

if you crash within the last 3km you are awarded the stage finish - if the maillot jaune crashed on the last day I reckon the peloton would wait, it would be seriously bad form
