Proper random shape blocks to get your gob around.

I don't buy the Tony's stuff because of the stupid random blocks. They're all awkward angles so if you're trying to bite into a piece made of two small blocks, it forces your teeth in opposite directions.

They went to sh*t back when they changed to almonds from hazelnuts in their fruit and nut. I withdrew my warrant then.

and then brought out a new bar called the Republican, with an image of Oliver Cromwell and some link to the New Model Army.

Given the outcome of that political experiment,  be careful what you wish for.

I'm still angry about the size of chocolate buttons. They were much better when they were smaller.

Still enjoy a bit of Diary Milk occasionally since I apparently don't like chocolate and I'm not cool enough to be right about everything.

Royal warrants are of zero value to me.

I get all of my chocolate from Läderach in Zurich

Great chocolate, the factory tour is well worth a visit and a short hop from Zurich

The STW massif preferring artisan chocolate over the chocolate of the common man is hardly a surprise.

Dairy milk,Galaxy, or even a kit kat where there is no wafer just solid milk chocolate very rare but so good

Some of the cheap stuff from lid/Aldi reminds me of the stuff you nicked from the pantry used for when your mum was baking it was vile

I'm cross referencing this thread to the one about food that you don't like that you have to explain. Anyone on here expressing strong opinions about how any chocolate tastes who has more than a nodding acquaintance with weird eating habits can get in the sea.

The Dark Milk variety is better than standard Dairy Milk (which I won’t eat nowadays), but only available in giant buttons at the moment, I think.

To me, it tastes more like Dairy Milk did when I was a kid, no greasy vegetable oil taste to it.

co-op do a decent range of non-posh but better than CDM chocolate.

Check out M&S Giant Belgian Chocolate Buttons. If for no other reason than when you put them through the self-service till they appear as "Giant Choc Butt".

Oh, and Aldis Moser Luxurious Chocolate Truffles are Lindor in disguise. But I may have bought up every box in the East Midlands.

Imagine how expensive chocolate would be for everyone if we all insisted on double figure cocoa percentages in our bars.

I always buy Molly's chocolate bars in Tesco. They used to be about 34 pence or something.

Quite nice with an after dinner cuppa . Not had cadburys for ages.
