mates after a cabin in the Alps, mid-July-ish.  i said id ask on here as there'll probably be a fair few of you that look for the same sort of thing.

criteria...  near mont blanc, must sleep 5  (3 bedrooms), remote but not toooo remote.  traditional, preferably near a nice village/small town.  accessible from geneva as a couple are flying, the others driving over in camper.

decent mountain trails, as theyll be running/walking/cycling in the daytime, and a decent 'cafe culture' in the evening.

anyone got any recommendations at all please?

cheers

Booking.com and look at Argentiere as a start.  It likely won't give what they want, but it might push them in the right direction

I stayed here years ago.
It was stunning. Not cheap, but beautiful.

Also, try the Chalets Direct Solutions room. You post your requirements and people offer you what they have. I’ve used it a few times and it’s really good.

Sixt will be lovely, skied down to it from Flaine in the winter. The Gifre valley is beautiful

Samoens is quite nice and ticks all your boxes. Mont blanc can be seen from the top ski lift, but no idea how far away it is.
