i'm looking to buy some b/w 35mm film, always used to use an ilford but now can't recall which, can anyone recomend anything and/or any alternatives? 200 and 400asa i'm thinking. also something cheap would be a good call as it will be the first time i've developed my own film in about 25 years.

can anyone also recommend film and print developing chemicals and a supplier?

finally paper, anyone have any recommendations? i'd rather go cheap to begin with to get a feel for it again.

thanks

Can anyone recommend a good book to read on how to develop?
Also, any suggestions for developing without a Dark Room?

Have a look at Silverprint. Probably the best place in the country for film and processing supplies.

You don't need a darkroom for developing film - load the film into the developing tank using a changing bag and then everything else can be done in daylight.
