Having recently purchased a macro lens, i've been trying it out. Post your macro shots here!

Also, apparently bees are dying out. Well, not in my garden! Whilst trying out my new macro lens, it appears i've spotted at [url= http://www.flickr.com/photos/mark_farrell/sets/72157617269898377/ ]least four types, as well as one or two insects.[/url] How are the average STWer's bee ID skills?

Awww and now I want a macro lens, to go with my 50mm, 10-20mm, kit and 80-200 - I think I'm going to need a bigger bag!

bees have cool scientific names,

this is a nice site detailing common and less common species - It did raise a chuckle to find some less than impressive drawings amongst the mostly great illustrations:
