Anyone had any experience with the Buzzwing Spark? Specifically how it handles boost bikes and the like. My current bikes should be OK but I want to future proof if I can. I know the STW default is get the thule velospace but I can't really justify that kind of money.

Cheers.

Don’t have the spark but recently purchased the Buzzwing 2 which is £100 cheaper than the spark.

Bought it as a replacement for a 5 year old Thule which was too short for my new bike. It takes a bit longer to fit to the towbar than the Thule system but is far better for mounting two bikes as it avoids all the messing about trying to work out where to mount the frame clamps.

Overall very happy with it.

Can't find an image of the Spark. How many bikes?

Anyway, I've got their 2 bike Scorpion model, and it's been great for the year I've owned it so far.

Fits long wheelbase (1220mm+) bikes fine, and works fine with plus bikes (both 27.5+ and 29+).

Fittings are very secure, and they seem to be very robustly made.

*Edit* just found a pic.... looks like the non-folding version of mine. So I'd say go for it. Remember to buy the longer wheel straps if you've got plus tyres.

Thanks both. Noticed that the Buzzwing 3 had a bigger spacing between bikes and, being £100 cheaper than the Spark, went for that. Couldn't really see what the Spark offered over the wing. Fingers crossed!
