Any one got any pointers to help prevent me from being ripped off.
I have seen something and am going to email to ask questions but don't know what info i should expect to be able to get. Or is it my responsibility to get it appraised and certified post purchase and kick up stink if it is not as advertised.

Brave move full stop! Would only ever buy jewellery online from a big outfit you can trust and at least that way you know for certain you're paying over the odds!!
