Right, tried to buy/ download ms office 2013 online off mmoga site for about 60 quid for my father in law. All fine, paid up and then he gets an email to say that skript or something has taken the payment.
Then he gets and email from mmoga to say he needs to verify his account before the seller will authorise the payment.
To do this he needs to take a selfie of himself with his drivers licence or passport in shot with the photo visible and then email it with a scan of a utility bill before they'll validate his account ..
All seems a bit crazy for a £60 software download. He doesn't trust it and is a bit flappy anyway so is flipping out a bit as he's stressed about setting his pc
I wouldn't. It sounds mad
When was the last time you bought something online that required a picture of you with your passport or driving license?!!!!
I'd say he was being fairly savvy as sounds dodgy as **** to me
What wrong with office online? Thought it was free? So unless he's a power user, save £60
You used to be able to buy these keys from dhgate, aliexpress etc for the grand total of $2, they are in no way legit. Probably Office professional plus
