Anyone know of a good place to purchase Euros at a good rate.
Bizarrely - collecting dosh at Travelex at airports isn't bad... providing you book online first - otherwise they'll have your nads plus 10%
the post office is normally very good
apparently if you order on line and collect at the airport the rates can be very good
If it's only a couple of hundred you may as well just go to the PO or M&S
You're unlikely to make significant savings booking online and collecting etc.

PO rates were awful last time I got cash there. Currently using Halifax credit card - proper market rate and no withdrawal fee (so you can do small withdrawals). You pay interest for the month but it's cheaper than any other way of getting cash.
M&S always seem very good for my recent money changing purchases.
Got best rate out of the hole in the wall in France. No charge on my card for exchange rates.
If you've got time before you go get one of these and preload it euro's.

Ah OK should be more clear I have bought a place there last week and taken a mortgage
out there too, and have to transfer euros into my Spanish account to pay the mortgage and the bills.
So probably better going to a broker Does anyone know one if this is the right route?
