Afternoon all
I'm after a bit of advice on how to go about getting a second hand vehicle checked over for mechanical / structural issues.
I see that the RAC provide this service but the vehicle I have in mind falls outside of their terms and conditions.
Anyone on here used an alternative?
Ta in advance.
I assume you have a local, trust worthy mechanic in mind?
Sadly not. I'm in Inverness, vehicle is in Glasgow.
Could you book it in for an mot at a different garage and make the passing of the mot a condition of the sale?
I haven't used clickmechanic for this but they do offer it, have used for other work and liked the service. It's a bit like airbnb for mechanics.
I've seen that clickmechanic and was thinking of using it.
