My brother needed a woodshed building in a now vacant space between the gates and the ruin. Some friends were over from California and were desperate to be involved in a construction project.
My brother promised to cook us supper if we got the structure up. We managed our side of the bargain before he finished his.
Yesterday we finished it off, a trailer load of gravel, and some recycled tin and the left over Perspex sheets from my studio for the roof.
A bit of thought went into it. In a bid to not rob what little light could find the ankle height window, we placed the Perspex sheets above it. The shed also has to house some ladders, so we made a nifty rack for them.
We were both chuffed with the result.

I didn't fink he eva left landan?
I do most of my building in Keen sandals. Though when I'm using my chainsaw I always wear PPE.
You want a pallet under those logs for a bit of airflow I reckon! Lovely she'd again though. You have to love the box section tin sheet. Makes shed building a dream.
