Brannigans crisps are no longer a thing.

Protein powder is oddly sweet and rank.

The solution....

Roast beef and mustard or Roast ham and pickle flavour protein powders.

There isn't a flaw with the possible exception of protein OD

Yep, 2020 will forever be remembered for the death of the most epic crisps and nothing else.

I love lamb and mint but I thought that would be an odd protein shake.

While this is sad news to me, I never once bought a bag of Brannigans in recent times. The eye-watering Beef and Mustard were superb and the smokey bacon equivalents were very satisfying.

Had they not already been revived once? I thought they died long ago, only to make a come back in the past what, 5-10 years? Maybe they'll come again and this time I'll buy at least a multipack.

My search for a crisp that delivers the same punch in the face as Brannigans did continues. I’m beginning to lose hope.

The chorizo flavoured tyrells* are a pretty big mouthful of flavour.

* Could be mackies

That'll explain why they were in B&M Bargains.

Unflavoured collagen protein does have a slightly savoury thing going on (hence me having a 95% full packet in my cupboard for about the past year, bleurgh...).

That must be the dirt from the fingernails they grind up?

I just don't get why they have to be sweet flavours.

Crisps are an anytime flavour. Chocolate and vanilla are for milkshakes with your McDonald's.

Hmm. How popular do you think ham and pickle flavour will be in Afghanistan?

So your plan is to sell meat flavored powder? I think Bisto have the market sewn up.

Mind... Blown.

One jar of Bovril and a tin of mustard powder and I'll begin protyping.

So you want a source of protein that tastes strongly of Roast beef and mustard or Roast ham and pickle? I don't know if you've considered this - but perhaps pop round to your mum's house on a Sunday afternoon.*

(* other relatives are available, as are other dining times)

Even better - it's beef-derived 🙂

But how will people know I work out while I sit at my desk with a napkin in my collar and a full dinner infront of me.
