You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
When it comes to Sarcoma,
You cant beet a bit of bully!!
Sarcoma? I 'ardly even know her!
Also could just cover the t shirt in names of supporters (I'm thinking like Andy Schleck's bike in the tour last year..)
Bullheart. Beating Cancer since 2009.
BHTFU.
+1 for "Not now cancer, Im busy"
And my own suggestion:
"Bullheart - he beat cancer but still rides a singlespeed"
Well done Mark
But Id still beat you up a hill matey
🙂
EDIT:
"Being a stubborn bastard and riding singlespeed beats cancer"

I think the 'terminal is open to interpretation' is awesome. I would definately buy one of those. It is definately the attitude of my dad when he was facing it. Amazing slogan
All heart, no bull?
The difference between
Bullheart and others is
not a lack of strength,
not a lack of knowledge,
but rather a lack of will.
Morning all,
I'm in the Lakes. Its wet.
There are some amazing tag-lines that have been posted on here so far, and I'm listening to the majority of plus opinions at the moment. For me, a definite winner is iDave's 'Not not cancer. I'm busy', which I think reflects the seriousness of the situation, but also the fact that I (we) aren't prepared to let it take over life. Everyone seems to be in agreement that this is an excellent choice, so I think I'm going to put this forward to Al at Spokeshirts.
The original tag-line for anything Bullheart-related was 'Because we don't give up. Ever', and I really like this one. It's very personal to me. I started to think it when the days were very dark, and it's been a mantra all the way through. A couple of you have commented on it being okay, so I'll probably stick with it.
The third one is contentious, but I want to explain why and see what you think. Again, iDave the marketing wizard 😉 came up with it. 'Terminal is open to interpretation' is powerful, and requires further explanation, which I think (hope) is the point of these T-shirts. I want folk to be asked about them, so the story can be relayed and the message continues. But the word 'terminal' is what I'm struggling with at the moment. Not at any point, even when told I have incurable cancer (which I have got, despite there being no trace) did I think of myself as terminally ill. I want to replace it with incurable, but I'm not sure it has the same impact;
Incurable is open to interpretation
What do you think? Does the message get lost? Opinions please...

Mark,
I like these;
'Not not cancer. I'm busy'
'Because we don't give up. Ever'
and also
'Terminal is open to interpretation'
I think it sounds better than incurable..but its a personal thing.
Have a nice sunday in the wet lakes!
Morning M & M! -
Raining in the lakes eh, what are the chances of that 😉
Hope you have a great week though.
Got lucky and met up with Sharki yesterday= 3 things
Bliddy good fun on the Q's despite my own stupidity restricting me to one gear..
Bliddy tired legs today..
Most importantly - he was wearing his Team BullHeart cycling top.
Having seen that, and taking the lead from your preferences I'd suggest...
Bullheat logo where it is on current jersey - above the heart.
'Because we don't give up. Ever' means the most to you so either have that text below the logo or in a circle, around the logo.
On the back - i'm presuming that's where the big statement is going?
- i agree with you in that i'm not sure 'incurable' has the same impact.Terminal is open to interpretation
Just my 2 cents worth.
Oh, one other thought- 'Terminal - it's also the start of the journey'
C,S&T
I like incurable too, and nearly suggested it. I like it because my own lymphoma is generally regarded as incurable, but I have no intention of dying! As mentioned earlier in the thread I feel that it would be a shame for your hugely positive story to generate distress for patients friends or family of other cancer battlers, and generally when the terminal word is used their isn't much ambiguity.
IMO - terminal is one less syllable and people will understand it. the fact that there isn't much ambiguity makes it all the more powerful a message. but i think 'not now cancer, I'm busy', sums up Marks approach perfectly - it has a bit of dark humour and tenacious attitude. as for not upsetting people, that shouldn't be a consideration.
I prefer the message of not now but feel the phrasing could be better. Not sure how though. A suggestion would be "cancer? Not now I'm busy." But I know that's not right either. And not taking consideration of others feelings? Glad I'm not in marketing.
All I meant is that there are so many possible ways that someone you don't know could be offended without you intending it, that you just have to do what you feel is the best thing and let people get upset while you get on with doing what is necessary.
Fair enough, I can live with that 🙂
Not now cancer, Im busy.. is good if you know the outcome. But couldn't it also be a cry of desperation from someone who doesn't have an outcome?

Yeah! Nice one. I'm in
10 hours later, but 😆
So where can we get these items of sartorial elegance?
Count me in too please.
that includes elfs too if you decide to let ir go to print 🙂
what sizes and how much? i'll be wanting one to compliment the jerseys from mayhem.
Love it although I'd prefer a non pink girlie option! Great design though.
They will be available on the Spokeshirts website in a few weeks time. Interestingly the pink hadn't been thought of as a girls shirt; more a limited run of pink.
(Feels ignored and undervalued...)
Odd. No sign of that worthless Elfin yet. Hmmmmmm.
