[Closed] Bulged disc in neck?

There's what could best be described as a bulge on one side of a vertebra in my neck. Not big enough to see, but I can feel it. If I tilt my head the other way, I can feel it swap over to the other side, and if I hold my head slightly tilted it'll be balanced on each side.

I've got no real symptoms apart from a bit of a stiff neck that I put down to this cold. I've felt it before, last time I had a cold a year or so ago.

Bulged disc, or impending death? Anyone had similar?

Could be all sorts but won't be a disc - they are a long way from anything superifical.

Worth getting someone to have a look (gp) if persists

I've currently got a bulged disc at C6-C7 pressing into my spinal chord.

My only symptoms are neurological - my legs have gone a bit weird.

Waiting for an op as we speak.

You'll have to see a doc. If your guess about what's wrong is correct it won't fix itself.

Good luck.

Hmm, well with no neurological symptoms, maybe it's just some kind of dreadful cancer.

I've currently got two bulged discs at C5-C6 but not pressing into my spinal chord. I have some symptoms which revolve around my left arm and the nerves being squeezed. Having physio every 3 weeks and looking at ~ 6 months more to strengthen the neck and reduce the pressure on the nerves.

If you've got a bulged disc I'm fairly sure you'd have symptoms and you should get it checked out. HTH
