Yes /No, places to go, where to stop, car hire etc.

i went during a euro's [2008 ?] enjoyed it, we got a taxi upto bansko from sofia airport, train to plovdiv, then on a bus to veliko tarnavo, then onto the coast Varna, , before an overnight bus to Istanbul.
cracking 8-9 days, food, drink, accomodation and transport was cheap as chips back then and lots to see and do.
maybe avoid sunny beach unless you are a fan of benidorm
