Hi guys, Looking to build a new shed as the old one is falling apart and leaking like a mofo.

Ideally I want to build one out of corrugated metal, anyone done this any tips or plans I can steal?

Cheers

Paul

I used this lot for the steel roof on my shed www.steelroofsheets.co.uk

Just the roof. The same panels are used for sides on barn though.

Get decent tec screws. You'll want to choose the correct type depending on what framing your going into.

was thinking roof and walls in corrugated, ideally looking for some info on building the frame and making sure it's water tight, also any advice on what sort of doors to fit.

Corrugated sheets overlap to create the waterproof seal, and you can get all manner of preformed flashings to cover the joints.

Timber framed would be fine. Nice to get a drip detail at floor level of some sort when using metal. A simple upstand then three 90 deg turns to form it. Round here my cladders use corrivo who will supply anything you draw up and bend it to suit basically.

This is from kingspans website. Detail top left on first page showing a drip when using a composite panel.
I'd either go down the composite panel route or definitely insulate on the inside as you'll be getting a serious amount of condensation running down the walls if just single sheet.
Could always go down the built up system (liner panel, insulation, top sheet) using ashgrid bar etc

If its corrugated get some ear defenders for when it rains/hails.
